over and over and over...

There are a few albums that I can listen to almost endlessly. Strangely, I don't often think to choose them when looking for something to listen to, but when I do, I can and have listened to them over and over, regardless of my mood (e.g., I once listened exclusively to Mother's Milk for a drive across Michigan and back, 310 miles, in a jeep that couldn't safely go over 60). In no order:

Peter Gabriel, Passion
The Cure, Staring at the Sea
Butthole Surfers, Electriclarryland
Violent Femmes, Add It Up
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mother's Milk
Jane's Addiction, Ritual de lo Habitual
The Pixies, Doolittle
Moby, Play
Sublime, Sublime
The Pogues, If I Should Fall From Grace With God

I bet all of these are at least 10 years old. I didn't add a couple that I listen to a lot now because I'm not sure how they'll shake out over time, though I'd expect to see Blanche in there. And anything by Miley Cyrus, definitely. I do have to wonder if there is a lot of new stuff that I'd feel the same about if only I had time to find it. What albums can you listen to repeatedly in their entirety (please, add in comments)? Are they similarly tied to an earlier point in your life, or has the list evolved?

Wow. This was harder than I thought.
Goober & The Peas-The Complete Works Of...This cassette sat idle for about 8 years tucked away in the bottom of a box and forgotten...once it was rediscovered it has been the gem of my collection.
The Cure-Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me
This was a toss up with The Head on The Door...Actually lets consider it a tie.
White Stripes-White Blood Cells. A new favorite that I hadn't really played since the release of Get Behind Me Satan...WBC I think is Their stronger offerings.
Bruce Springsteen-We Shall Over Come (The Seeger Sessions)...Just because it always brings a smile.
Ultra Lounge-BossenovaVille...Loves me some lounge.
Honestly, that's all that I can say that I want to listen to on a complete run. I prefer variety as you'll see in an up coming post.
